There are many things being said about the Revlon ColorStay Foundation that made me psyched to try it out. Right now I am using the MAC Face and Body Foundation because I like how well it remains on during the hot and humid summer months. I am liking it so far but I have to make do with the really sheer coverage. I was on the look out for something that I can use during hot days while still experiencing full coverage and I heard that the Revlon ColorStay Foundation can do both. I do not really go for face cosmetics from the drugstores since I think they smell a little funny and I end up having cogged pores. I also have to buy a couple of them since I cannot test them before buying and end up getting the wrong color.

When I started using the Revlon ColorStay Foundation, I was surprised that it lacked that usual bad smell; in fact there is hardly any smell at all. I did not get clogged pores or dry and itchy skin. I did not get to try it before buying as usual but I was lucky enough to get the color that was perfect on me. The Revlon ColorStay Foundation really makes my skin look sun kissed.

I use the MAC brush #130 with my new Revlon ColorStay Foundation. I do a swirling movement on my skin and finish off with some loose powder. I was happy at how full the coverage was. It was even matte after drying which was different from my previous MAC foundation. In fact there was hardly any need for me to put on powder.

I have used the Revlon ColorStay Foundation to many things now; I have played tennis wearing it and I have even gone running on the beach. I was amazed at how well it stayed on my skin. It is by no means transfer-proof but if you do sweat and wipe your face with a napkin you do not have to worry about it streaking or getting removed. This makes it a really good product to try out. I am really impressed by how well the Revlon ColorStay Foundation is performing. There are other colorstay products, like Revlon colorstay overtime lipcolor, that go great with the foundation.

To think of a disadvantage to say regarding the Revlon ColorStay Foundation, it is only that you have to use a lot more in order to get full coverage. It is thicker than the MAC Studio Fix so it does not spread as well. I end up going through it faster compared to the other brands I used to use. It is better to use a blush for application rather than your fingers since it is thicker.

The Revlon ColorStay Foundation is perfect if you are looking for fuller coverage and long staying power.
