The Body Fat Solution: Five Principles for Burning Fat, Building Lean Muscles, Ending Emotional Eating, and Maintaining Your Perfect Weight
Building lean muscle mass obviously requires dedication to regular weight training to stimulate your muscles to grow. The areas that often get neglected are nutrition and cardio – both of which are absolutely essential for building lean muscle without fat.
For beginners to bodybuilding, weight training alone will usually provide an initial shock to your muscles that will cause them to grow, but this will only happen for a few weeks.
After that, your muscles will only grow if you are following an anabolic diet to go along with your intense weight training regimen.
Cardio plays the essential role of controlling your body fat levels while you pack on muscle mass.
If you are eating the high number of calories required to build muscle mass, you will inevitably put on fat if you are not consistently performing cardio workouts to keep your body in a primed fat burning state.
Cardio not only works to burn fat while you are exercising, but also has the effect of burning fat for hours even after you have finished your cardio workouts.
The best cardio for weight loss (fat loss) should be performed just after you wake up in the morning or immediately after you weight train.
These are the optimal times to burn fat because this is when your body’s blood sugar will be the lowest.
When there is little sugar in your blood to fuel your cardio workout, your body has no choice but to begin to oxidize its fat reserves to give you the energy you require to complete your cardio exercise.
If your goal is to get a lean and sculpted bodybuilder’s physique, you cannot afford to neglect nutrition or regular cardiovascular exercise. Combining nutrition and cardio with consistent weight training is the secret to bodybuilding success by enabling you to build lean muscle mass.
The Gastric Mind Band - Why suffer the side effects when you don't need to?
Are you overweight? If you are, then you probably know it feels like to be stereotyped as a lazy person. You probably do not feel very beautiful on some days. If you are looking for a way to get rid of those extra pounds, you may be considering having gastric bypass surgery done.
Gastric bypass is a very popular surgical procedure wherein the stomach is made smaller. This change in stomach size will make a person feel full more quickly than usual. It will also weaken your appetite, which will normally result in you consuming smaller amounts of food, though this is not guaranteed as many people put weight back on after the initial weight loss following gastric band procedures.
Of course, every surgical procedure has side effects. Some of the more serious side effects of gastric bypass surgery are the dumping syndrome, blood clots, blackouts, nutrition deficiency, loss of muscle mass and pneumonia. Of course not everything will happen to you but you do need to be aware of what the risks are before going ahead.
After surgery, you need to follow the four stages of the gastric bypass diet. This diet will slowly and properly get you accustomed to eating in smaller amounts.
You need to constantly monitor your food choices and the quantity of food you are consuming. You must also get used to exercising regularly. You may have been lazy to do so in the past, but you can no longer afford to be lazy after you have taken this first step to a new you. A healthy lifestyle is the key to getting the body you’ve always wanted.
Aside from the gastric bypass, other alternatives for weight loss include the lap band procedure or liposuction. Of course, none of these alternatives will affect your eating habits. Changing your eating habits would be something you would have to do on your own. Take time to consider your options before making a final decision. What is important is that you are happy and satisfied with your decision.
If you know you are going to have to change your diet after the gastric band procedure, then there is nothing to stop you “acting as if” and changing it now. It is not going to be any easier not eating the packet of chips viewing TV in the evening after the operation than it is now. So if you are willing to give it a go, you can save yourself a lot of pain, expense and possible side effects with a bit of effort.
Suzanne Somers Eat Great, Lose Weight
Balancing your diet is a bit of an art, however once you get into the habit of it it will become second nature to you. You will know what foods to eat, what makes you feel good and what doesn’t and barely even have to think about it.
Avoid the nasties
Foods that are high in saturated fats and synthetic sugars are usually loaded with other additives like preservatives, colorings and sodium as well, a whole host of nasties that we could definitely do without.
The more you stick to a diet that does not contain these things the healthier you will feel and the more you will regain your taste buds and be able to appreciate finer flavors that may be too subtle for your palate at the moment, if you are accustomed to consuming foods full of sugar and fat etc.
Stick to Simple Food Groups
If you want to achieve good health stick to food groups that are simple and don’t contain additives. Choose from any basic food groups, in moderation, each day with the least amount of foods being from dairy and meat.
Great choices are lean meats, fish, free range eggs, legumes, dairy (no sugar or flavoring – go for natural varieties), fruit and vegetables, wholegrain cereals, oats and basmati or brown rice. Choosing the bulk of your food choices from these groups will ensure that you get a balanced diet that is not high in fat or synthetic sugar and is nutrient rich.
Make meal preparation easy with a crock pot or slow cooker
Purchase a slow cooker for ease of meal preparation. It is simple to chop your ingredients the evening before and add it to the slow cooker in the morning – when you arrive home your dinner will be prepared.
It takes little effort and is a great way to regulate the ingredients of what you are eating. There are many ideas for the slow cooker like sweet potato casserole and chicken breast recipes that are healthy and simple – try and buy organic chicken when you can.
Biggest Loser Family Cookbook: Budget-Friendly Meals Your Whole Family Will Love
The life of a parent is very challenging. On top of taking care of your kids, you have to worry about finances, keeping the house in order, getting meals on the table, laundry, and of course, last but not least your own personal health.
Sometimes parents allow their wellness to take a backseat to all of the other matters and concerns that need to be addressed in the home.
This is very selfless of you and all, but if you aren’t in a healthy place, your quality of care for your family and everything else in your life will go down dramatically.
These tips may help you to realize ways you can improve your own health, and in doing so be a better parent.
1. Go to bed.
So many parents allow themselves to get completely exhausted, but at what cost? Is life really going to be over if you don’t get the entire house cleaned before you go to bed? Is staying up until three AM doing laundry and dishes going to make you a better parent. Not at all. Get some sleep. Chores, late night store runs, and even catching up on your DVR can wait until tomorrow. You need your rest.
2. Make meals healthy not just accommodating.
Your kid may resolve to only eat macaroni and cheese from the box, but you need to put a stop to this. Making meals to please your children is more than likely making it so your diet is less than great. Plan meals that are nutritious, kid friendly, and that will expand your kids palates. Don’t just succumb to easy and cheesy.
3. Let the local fast food joints forget your face.
Just as cooking for your kids to accommodate their greasy requests is not a good idea, allowing them to eat fast food all the time isn’t helping them, or you, out either. If time is of the essence and a turkey sandwich at home is out of the question find healthy take out options that will satisfy your kids and won’t expand your waistline. If you want to lose stomach fat, eating a double decker burger with fries every day isn’t going to be your answer.
4. Make breakfast happen.
Far too often getting kids out the door in the morning takes over, and before you know it you’re ready for lunch. Make breakfast a priority for you and for your kids. It is proven that those who eat breakfast are a lot more likely to maintain a healthy weight.
5. Get rid of the kid food.
Cookies, fruit snacks, crackers, chips, and whatever else you’ve got lurking in your pantry and fridge to please your kids need to be minimized. Stop snacking on them and find healthy snacks for you and your kids. String cheese, fruit, veggies and hummus, granola bars, and fruit leathers are much better snacks for you and for your kids.
Getting healthy will help you to feel better and will make you a better parent.

The Little Book of Lipo: Everything You Need to Know About Liposuction but Didn't Know to Ask
There are many questions that a prospective patient considering liposuction surgery might have. One of the first concerns that will most certainly come up is how much the treatment will cost.
There is no short answer because it really depends on many factors which is why it will be different for every individual. The biggest factors affecting liposuction prices include the size of the treatment area, the amount of fat to be removed, whether there are additional treatments necessary and where the plastic surgeon is physically located.
When coming up with an estimate price it is very important for the plastic surgeon to know where on the body you desire the procedure. This will give an approximation of the size of the area and the amount of fat to be removed but still depends largely on the individual.
That is why you cannot rely on any liposuction price estimate until the plastic surgeon has had an opportunity to physically analyze the patient in person.
It really boils down to the amount of time and effort required for the surgeon to complete the procedure.
The location of the clinic also greatly affects the price because everything is relative to the cosmetic surgery market the surgeon is in.
Places in large populations and a high demand for cosmetic surgery will generally cost more than a more remote town with a smaller demand. This is especially true when making the comparison between large metropolitan areas with smaller towns or suburbs.
Anyone willing to make a several hour drive outside of their town of residence might be able to find an equally qualified plastic surgeon for less money.
The important thing to remember is that you cannot compromise the quality of the surgeon. Also, do not forget to factor in the cost of traveling especially if you are going a greater distance that might require additional expenses like meals, gas, or a hotel room.
How to Never Look Fat Again: Over 1,000 Ways to Dress Thinner--Without Dieting!
Don’t starve yourself. You can hide those extra pounds with a few fashion tips. These tips will flatter your figure while you take off those extra pounds sensibly, without skipping your (small) bowl of ice cream after dinner.
A body slip is a must have for those looking to smooth out extra bumps. Oprah said that she sometimes wears two under her clothes.
You can choose one that covers certain trouble spots, like a half slip to allow you to slid into your favorite pencil skirt or a pair of mens white pants.
Or, you can choose the full body slips, which will allow you to wear your favorite summer dress. If you want to look really smashing, wear two, like Oprah.
Stilettos will hide extra pounds even faster than a body slip. Stilettos are really amazing shoes. They make you look taller, and thus leaner. Any shoe with over thee inches of heel will do the same thing, but nothing will do it as well as a stiletto.
When you wear layers, which everyone must from time to time, make sure that each layer does not add bulk, like a mohair sweater does. Keep them lightweight and as fitted as possible.
A pantsuit is an option that many don’t think about. Yet, it is one that you are probably already utilizing. Wearing the same color from head to toe means that you are creating one long line. Thus, the eye won’t stop to look at a little bump here or there. A bright or light colored camisole coming up out of the v-neck of the jacket will focus attention upward toward your face.
Finally, a big, giant handbag will make you look slimmer the instant you pick it up. The proportion of a large bag makes an onlooker think that you have gotten smaller in comparison. A square shape will make you look curvy, but not big, and don’t carry right next your problem spots. This will draw the eye to your problem spot, which was probably not what you were going for.

Many products we buy especially those in the land of self improvement, business opportunity and weight loss are purchased because we hope to make our lives better.
Maybe this time the product will make all the difference – the clever ads or the blurb on the back of the book promise so much.
And not only will it change our lives, our shape or our business but it will do it all
“in 7 days”
“quickly”
“easily”
“with no effort”
It's Right to Have Hope (Image by Robert Michie sxc.hu username robby_m)
The thing is after the book is bought and the first chapter or two read, reality tends to hits us.
There is no magic formula after all. This solution takes work. Or needs luck. Or won’t do what we thought it could – and we set ourselves up for a huge disappointment.
We abandon the book, the course, the program.
And we lose hope until the next time a glowing ad comes along.
But the thing is, you are right to have hope.
None of these ads are offering anything that you can not achieve – a successful business, a slim figure, a better life.
They are all available to you – it’s the quickly, easily, in 7 days, with no effort that you have to forget.
Anything which is worth having takes action and it’s only action which separates the successful from the not so successful.
So instead of buying one product after another and hoping it has the magic answer for you, just take one of those products you bought in the past and actually do what it says ignoring the easy-peasy propaganda claims. The ads can’t possibly know what will work for you (just look at all those disclaimers if you doubt it!) But you’ll never know unless you take action to put the system in place and THEN evaluate whether it is working for you or not.
If it is – you succeeded, well done! Continue to look for ways to make things better and put them into action so you can evaluate what is working and what is not in the same way.
If it is not, choose another system or modify the one you have until it does.
Don’t give up on your dreams because a system (or even ten) does not seem to have the magic answer. Believe you can achieve what you want through exploring what works and what doesn’t.
There is no such thing as false hope until you give up trying.
