 Wicket Ewok LEGO Star Wars Minifigure
CLICK IMAGE for details Wicket Wystri Warrick is one of the most recognizable Ewok characters in Star Wars. As such, it is no surprise that LEGO manufactured a Wicket mini figure to include in its cast of mini figures under the Star Wars theme.
The Wicket mini figure was first introduced in the 7139 Ewok Attack set, which made its debut in 2002 under the Star Wars Classic Theme. The 7139 Ewok Attack set has a total of 119 LEGO pieces. In addition to the Wicket mini figure, this particular set also featured a Paploo mini figure, a Scout Trooper mini figure and a Storm Trooper mini figure.
The Wicket mini figure in the 7139 Ewok Attack set has brown legs, arms, hands, torso and head. This all brown look of the mini figure lacks detail in terms of other colors which could have made its design even more appealing to the eyes. However, the design is still quite fine because of the sculpted parts of its head and torso. These gave the mini figure more design detail.
It was not until in 2009 when the LEGO Wicket mini figure was once again included in a Star Wars set from LEGO.
Unlike the all brown design of the first Wicket mini figure in the 7139 Ewok Attack set, the 8038 The Battle Of Endor set featured a Wicket mini figure with an improved design.
The mini figure retained its brown legs, arms, torso and head but its head piece has been altered into a light brown color. To further improve its design details, the eyes of the mini figure are colored black.
The 8038 The Battle Of Endor was released in the United States on June 28, 2009, a little over 3 weeks after its released in the United Kingdom on June 4, 2009.
This particular set is composed of a total of 890 LEGO pieces. It features a number of mini figures in addition to the Wicket mini figure such as the Brown Pants variant of the Han Solo mini figure, the Endor version of the Princess Leia mini figure and the new design of the R2-D2 mini figure just to mention a few.
